#112 Certainty When Someone is Jealous of You

Season #1

Many corporate executives struggle with the balance of certainty and humility as a leader. I see a lot of great leaders being brought down by people who are jealous of them. We spend a lot of time and energy trying to win over the person who doesn't like us when the issue is not you - it is within them. Still we perseverate on what is wrong with us. Not healthy. You want to have the presence of a strong leader yet you don’t want to appear arrogant or show self-doubt. Too often leaders dial back their executive presence as well as their voice when they feel judged. This does nothing to win favor from anyone, especially the person who they preceive is jealous of them. In this episode we talk about how to manager yourself in the face of uncertainty and jealousy. For more career, self-regulation, and executive presence resources go to www.MaryLeeGannon.com
